Pray for Rushere
We would value your prayers!
Completion of the Multi-purpose Hall/Chapel
At the moment, the Chapel uses the same room as the Out Patient Department, and there is a great need for a separate room. It will be used daily for the Morning Service, and will be available for many other purposes.
Please pray for:
- God's blessing on the building and sufficient funds to complete the project
- Patients and staff to be very aware of God's presence as they meet for the Morning Service and other events
- A growth in the use of the Multi-purpose Hall, so that many people can benefit from the project.
Chaplain
George Waitega has been working at Rushere for many years as Electrician, and has recently become Chaplain of Rushere. He oversees the organisation of daily Chapel services and weekly staff prayers. He also prays with patients and anyone else who requests prayer support.
Please pray for:
- George, as he settles into his new role
- Many opportunities to share the Gospel with patients and their carers
- Weekly prayer staff prayer meetings - that God would strengthen and lead those who attend.
Christian witness of Rushere
We need your prayers to enable us to reflect Christ in the way we provide healthcare services.
Please pray for:
- The Christian staff, that they would be strong in the Lord, and would be a channel of God's love and power.
- All staff, that they will experience the love and power of Christ, and that some will chose to become Christians.
- Patients and carers, that they will experience the love of God and be drawn to Him whilst they are at Rushere
The Guest House
The Guest House was the vision of Joan Hall, previous Director, with the aim of accommodating volunteers, supporters and medical students on elective placements. It is a wonderful setting for holidaymakers who want to learn about, or contribute to, life in this part of Uganda.
Please pray for:
- an increase in the number of guests wishing to use the Guest House for a holiday, retreat or conference
